Pacifica Beach with Dante

Pacifica sits on the San Mateo County coast just south of San Francisco, where Pacifica State Beach (Linda Mar) and the bluffs of Mori Point meet the Pacific. Wide sand, a crescent bay, and coastal trails make it an easy dog-friendly escape close to home.

Pacifica State Beach is also known as Linda Mar Beach, and underwent one of California's earliest "managed retreat" habitat-restoration projects between 1989 and 2005.
